Over the last two lessons we have been doing a lot of exercises revolving around revelation and opening up. I understand what the exercises were trying to do, but I realised that I struggle to open up about myself, I had even decided that my performance of perception wasn’t going to be about my own experiences on perception. When looking at the people that we have looked at in class, such as; Marina Abramovic, Spalding Gray and even Chris Goode. There has been a similar thread of autobiography in their works, whether the performances have been about them or their own feelings and thoughts it all seems to come back to the performer.
So throughout the sessions I think it would be beneficial for my end performance and the ideas I have for it, if I try to pen up more.

Just listened to the conversation on death, good, how will you use it? This is beginning to warm on me; really dark yet witty.’Happy Valley’. Keep blogging and perhaps now let’s see a sense of show developing. Good blog.

Cody,
love the blog to date. We need to think about these three business men and how to work on them. Will it work? Could they be part of your imagination?
I have set up a rehearsal later in the week? have a look and get back to me

Great material Cody. Keep developing, I am not sure about the reason for avoiding the comedy? Stick with atmosphere and tone. Look at the song and clip of’suicide is painless’ from the iconic film Mash.
Keep searching
